At Quarry Bank we offer a whole host of clubs and activities for the children to take part in throughout the year, including some early morning activities too.

We invite parents in to complete a reading morning session with their child throughout the week. It is a great opportunity to hear your child read, choose a book that they perhaps want to take home, and congratulate them on their brilliant reading!

Tuesday: Years 1 and 2
Wednesday: Years 3 and 4
Thursday: Reception classes
Friday: Years 5 and 6

We also have a Breakfast Buddies club in the morning for those children who are finding it tricky to attend school - this is predominantly as an intervention to support children with school anxiety. Children are invited into school early (8.30am) to avoid the hustle and bustle, and they have the chance to complete some mindfulness activities before settling into school smoothly.
