At Quarry Bank, we want children to develop a deep understanding of the world and the different cultures within it. We feel that learning a foreign language is a necessary part of being a member of a multi-cultural society and provides an opening to other cultures. We believe it is important that we provide children with opportunities to learn new ways of thinking and for them to communicate for practical purposes. Our aim is to equip children with the foundations to learn further languages with the possibility of exploring, studying and working in other countries.
